5 separate folders to download, I would choose to download each folder individually, my internet connection is on the slow side? That’s your choice you can download all there should not be any problems.
Generally I download first without installing, then install later. If you wish to install say X, you could use your existing installation files but I prefer to download again, choosing a new Download folder for both programs. I am now considering creating a new Disc Image ? That would be my backup should things go wrong with windows. Once I had all my preferred programs running I created a Disc Image of the C Drive.
When I last re-installed Windows 10 I then installed all my standard programs, Word, E-mail software, image editors, Corel VS etc.Īll my video, image and audio files reside on another drive keeping C drive to a minimum size.
I am now happy again and 2018 is is in pride of place and I do not have to learn how to use Shotcut.
Unless Corel have some magical wand that they wave to enable the license key to work after contacting support. The ticket was made out on the 1st June and as yet I have had nu reply. After all day and four or five attempts everything suddenly clicked and CVS 2018 finally opened. I couldn't help myself and still I persevered with the installation file and the key. It failed with the instruction to contact support. I had written down the license key, as my memory is gradually on it's way to the fuzziness of old age, and proceeded to download those installation files and the license key. It took me another two days to find the downloaded installation 2018 files that I got from Corel for £21 from a CVSX9 pop up. When Win10 did finally open I found that win10 had deleted CVS X4, 6, 8, 9. The re-install was not without it's problems as anyone who has experienced Microsoft's operating system. A Win10 re-install was advised and the usual saving of the various hard drives and any files that I wanted to keep were isolated. First it would refuse to answer the mouse clicks and finally, after three or four weeks it would just stop working after five or ten minutes from switch on. After the latest Windows update, my computer gradually began to seize up. If someone can point me to a solution, that would be very appreciated.
Even trying to install the software as a Trial Version ends on the grayed out “next” button on the Registration Window. Again all other software, including other Corel programs, have been installed without issue and work flawlessly, but Video Studio continues with the same problem during install.
